The Workshop will put emphasis on a detailed reading of the book Self and Other: exploring subjectivity, empathy, and shame. Two preparation sessions will ensure our common ground for the matter and help prepare the presentation of Zahavi´s work. Dan Zahavi will be present and this is therefore going to be an opportunity of a very interactive face-to-face encounter with the author.
There was a rich discussion on user empowerment, user experience and websites, responsive design vs. static pages. It was a great opportunity to engage in topics not included in one's daily scientific work.
Our seventh workshop took place on 7th March 2015. It was a presentation and discussion of a take on distributed cognition and perception theories by Auris-E. Lipinski. Time: 11-16 o´clock. Location: Humboldt Universität zu Berlin, Unter den Linden 6, Room 2093. Among the participants were CEO´s of differently engaged companies (VIOM, HFC, HeuroLabs), already working in research projects concerning cognition.
