Description
AI-powered surveillance is changing the way the world monitors and manages security, blending computer vision and neural networks to track, analyze, and respond to real-world events in real time. This talk breaks down how the technology works, from facial recognition to behavior analysis, and dives into the impact it has on society. On one hand, it helps prevent crime, enhances public safety, and improves efficiency in everything from law enforcement to retail. On the other, it raises serious concerns about privacy, bias, and the potential for misuse. China’s surveillance system serves as a powerful example of both the possibilities and dangers of AI-driven monitoring. As this technology continues to evolve, the real question is: how much surveillance is too much?
